About Sanctuary Counseling
Sanctuary Counseling is a faith-based private practice dedicated to providing compassionate and professional counseling services. Our team is comprised of strong believers who integrate faith into both our workplace culture and therapeutic practices as desired. Located just outside of Lansing in Holt, Michigan, we offer a supportive environment for both clients and staff.
Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate clinicians and interns to join our team. Candidates should hold (or be pursuing) credentials as LPCs, LLPCs, LMSWs, LLMSWs, or be Master in Counseling Interns. Responsibilities
Therapeutic Services: Provide individual, group, couples, and/or family therapy based on your preference and expertise. Integrate faith into counseling sessions when the client desires, and it is appropriate.
Client Caseload: Maintain a minimum caseload of 15 clients per week to be considered full-time (own office provided). Part-time positions are available but require sharing an office. Build your caseload over a ramp-up period of approximately 3 months, with support from Sanctuary's advertising and waitlist.
Documentation: Complete clinical notes and documentation in a timely manner using TherapyNotes.
Professional Development: Attend regular trainings where clinicians share their areas of expertise.
Community Engagement: Optionally participate in community events and workshops; participation is encouraged but not required.
Qualifications
Licensure: Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of Michigan (LPC, LLPC, LMSW, LLMSW). Master in Counseling Interns are welcome.
Experience: No minimum experience required; new graduates and interns are encouraged to apply.
Specializations: Open to various therapy modalities and specialties; clinicians use diverse modalities including CBT and others.

· One LPC supervisor and two LMSW supervisors, each with over 8 years of experience.
· Specializations in couples, men, women, and children, offering a range of styles and techniques to learn from.
Supervision Structure:
· Practice-wide supervision once a week.
· Additional supervision available as needed; our supervisors enjoy mentoring growing clinicians.
Professional Development:
· Assistance with continuing education and professional growth.
· Supervision hours provided for full licensure and for interns in Counseling and Social Work.
· Regular trainings where clinicians share their areas of expertise.
Flexible Work Hours:
· Choose your own schedule; both full-time and part-time positions are available.
· Full-time clinicians have their own office, accessible anytime.
· Part-time clinicians share an office.
Compensation/Payment Schedule:
· Competitive take-home pay ranging from 50% to 70% of billable hours, based on experience.
· Average billable hour is $120.
· Interns start at 50% of billable hours.
· Four weeks off factored into projections.
· Payments made via direct deposit twice a month.

Credentialing Assistance: We are in-network with most local insurance providers and assist with credentialing needs.
Administrative Support:
· Hands-on training in all software and tools used, including TherapyNotes, Dropbox, Excel, Google Docs/Sheets, Gmail.
· Office support available daily during the week to aid in scheduling, intake concerns, and other needs.
· In-house IT support with specialized tools for budgeting, tracking, forecasting, and scheduling.

· Office space near downtown Lansing, Michigan.
· 14 therapy rooms, kitchen, group/conference/break room, ample parking.
· Facilities to host group sessions.
· Safety prioritized with internal and external security measures for physical and digital safety.
· Option for remote work (teletherapy) available; in-person preferred.
